A detail is not a car wash
A tunnel wash pushes dirt across your paint with recycled brushes and blows it dry. A detail takes the dirt off the car instead of dragging it around. That starts with a foam pre-soak to lift grit, a two-bucket contact wash with clean mitts, and an iron remover that dissolves the embedded brake dust you can feel as roughness on a "clean" panel.
Inside, we pull mats, vacuum seat rails and trunk edges, extract cloth with hot water, steam the vents and console seams, then clean glass last so it stays clean. Leather gets a pH-safe cleaner and conditioner — not a silicone gloss that turns the seats slippery and the dash into a windshield mirror.
Colorado is hard on cars. Winter magnesium chloride eats at the underside and wheels, summer sun bakes UV into the dash, and mountain trips leave sap, bugs and grit in every crease. Two or three details a year keeps interiors from aging a decade in three years — and keeps resale value where it should be.
If you're planning a ceramic coating, book the detail first. Coating goes over clean, decontaminated paint or it goes over nothing.

Exterior decon and hand wash; interior vacuum, extraction, steam and surface cleaning, top down.

Sealant or coating on paint, UV protectant on trim and dash, glass cleaned inside and out.

Detailing pricing
The $150 special is the full inside-and-out detail on a standard-size vehicle in normal condition — interior-only is $100 and the exterior wash is $80. Trucks, SUVs, heavy pet hair, smoke odor, and job-site dirt cost more and are quoted after inspection.
