Ceramic film is the step up: nano-ceramic particles reject a much larger share of infrared heat — the part of sunlight you actually feel — so the cabin cools faster and stays cooler in stop-and-go traffic on Colfax or I-70.
Both block up to 99% of UV. Both hold shattered glass together in a collision or a smash-and-grab. The difference you pay for is heat, clarity, and how long the film keeps looking new.

VLT is the percentage of visible light the film lets through — lower number, darker glass. In Colorado, 35% and lighter is legal on the front sides. Behind the driver, any shade is allowed.

How a tint appointment runs

Glass prep
Every window is scraped, clayed and cleaned. Contamination under film is what causes the specks people blame on the installer.

Computer-cut, blade-free
Film is pattern-cut by a plotter for your exact vehicle — no blades touch your glass, trim or defroster lines — then heat-shrunk to the curve of the glass so it lies flat with no fingers or creases.

Install and cure
Film goes on, edges get tucked, and we hand the car back in 2–4 hours. Windows stay up 3–5 days while the adhesive cures.
